Premium Movie Channels
VDO2Go.Net Premium Movie Channels (PMC) offers a very cost-effective solution that delivers the latest Hollywood movies to your guest rooms. With PMC you can create one or more customized movie channels, much like your own in-house HBO. You decide the movie lineup and when each movie plays. The movies are stored on a local VDO2Go.Net Movie Server, streamed over your existing in-house TV cable and played over standard TV channels. It requires no special set-top box (STB) or any other in-room equipment and is compatible with any TV brand.
How It Works
- Movies are stored on our Movie Server located at your property
- Property managers create one or more movie playlists
- Scheduled movies are streamed over your cable TV system
- Guests view movies on TV channels (e.g., channel 2) using their
TV’s remote control
With PMC you can create multiple in-house movie channels—for example: Drama, Action, Comedy and Family movie channels. With our web-based movie scheduler you can create a movie playlist for the entire month. You also have complete control over which TV channel used by each premium movie channel.

A standard centralized cable TV (CATV) system
The movie channel set-top box connects to your CATV headend via its RF (channel) modulator output or through one of your headend’s RF modulator inputs
